Getting Here

The 2020 Northwest Yoga Conference is being held at Washington State Conference Center, 705 Pike St., Seattle, WA 98101.  The Northwest Yoga Conference would like to encourage attendees to use public transportation to and from the conference. It is safe, fast and very convenient.

LINK LIGHT RAIL
The closest stop on the link light rail to the conference is Westlake Station (one of several Downtown Tunnel Stations). This station is just blocks from the entrance of the conference. The link light rail system originates at the University of Washington to the north and at Sea-Tac Airport to the south. There are several stations between these points and fares range from $2.25 to $3.25 (one-way). The link light rail travels every 6-10 minutes depending up on the time of day.

If you are flying into Sea-Tac Aiport to join us, plan on a travel time of approximately 40 minutes and fare of $3.00 (one-way) for the link light rail.

SEATTLE AREA BUSES
There are many bus options for attendees joining us from throughout the Puget Sound.

If you are coming from north of Seattle, we highly recommend parking at the Northgate Transit Center (at the Northgate Mall) and taking a quick 20 minute bus ride on Route 41 of the King County Metro to the Washington State Conference Center. The bus runs daily, between 2-4 times an hour, depending upon the day. The fare is $2.75 (one-way). You can find more details on King County Metro’s website.

If you are coming from south of Seattle, Route 590/594 of the Sound Transit Express bus provides quick and convenient access between downtown Seattle and Tacoma.  You can find more details on Sound Transit’s website.

Sound Transit offers many Express bus routes that serve urban centers in Snohomish, King and Pierce Counties. Their 28 routes provide fast service between major cities and job centers, and allow convenient transfers to train service and local buses. Sound Transit bus service is offered seven days a week for many routes. You can find a full list of Express routes on Sound Transit’s website.

Just one block south of the main entrance to the show, King County Metro has a bus stop which services buses from all over the region. Bus routes 10, 11, 14, 41, 43, 49, 84, 306, 308, 312, and 522 all have a stop at 6th and Pike. Please visit metro.kingcounty.gov for more information and to create a custom trip.

FERRIES
If you are joining us from Bainbridge Island or the Kitsap Peninsula, the Washington State Ferry system can bring you to the Coleman Dock in downtown Seattle.  It is one mile from the Coleman Dock to the Washington State Convention Center.  Consider using Uber, Lyft or a taxi to travel between the Coleman Dock and Convention Center.  You can find the ferry schedule for Bainbridge Island here and Bremerton (Kitsap Peninsula) here.

BOLT BUS
The Bolt Bus travels along the I-5 corridor and makes stops in Vancouver, B.C., Bellingham, Seattle, Portland, OR., Albany, OR and Eugene, OR. Buses depart several times a day and fares are very reasonable, typically under $20 (one-way). The Bolt Bus depot in Seattle is at 5th Ave S and S Dearborn St, in the International/Chinatown District. From the bus depot, you can walk two blocks to the link light rail station and take that to the Westlake Station, only a few blocks from he conference. TRAIN
Amtrak travels along the west coast corridor and makes stops in Albany, OR, Salem, OR, Oregon City, OR, Portland, OR, Vancouver, WA, Kelso, WA, Longview, WA, Centralia, WA, Lacey/Olympia, WA, Tacoma, WA, Tukwila, WA, Seattle, WA, Edmonds, WA, Everett, WA, Stanwood, WA, Mount Vernon, WA, Bellingham, WA, and Vancouver, BC.

Trains depart several times a day and fares are reasonable. The Amtrak depot in Seattle is at the King Street Station near the International/Chinatown District. From the train depot, you can walk a couple of blocks to the link light rail station and take that to the Westlake Station, only a few blocks from the conference.
